Description / Marianne
Marianne was created in 1949 and is an iconic Finnish brand. It is a well-known caramel especially in the Nordic countries and it has a fresh and crispy peppermint coating filled with rich chocolate filling and is individually wrapped in its classic red and white striped paper for a more luxurious feel. Marianne is good to eat as it is but is also delicious to bake with. Marianne was bought by Fazer in the 90s from the former sweets manufacturer Chymos. The classic design with a motif of a sheaf on each Marianne candy has remained unchanged since its inception in 1949. Artist Aimo Vuorinen designed the cover and named Marianne.
